NY High Line

The high line is a great example of a vision becoming a way of life. There is no doubt that america loves action, activity, doers. this is a country that celebrates people and their actions. America is not the land for thinkers, but it is for those and about those who can set goals and achieve them. The Sky line is a symbol of this culture, if one polled the number of people running in large urban cities, NY would beat both (human race).  The walk also does another thing it bridges, classic american iconism to modern design thinking. It is always great if design can mixed into everyday life, it tends to change behavior. The Skyline is a powerful idea that works every second of its existence and provides the people with a mission a stage to live their mission.
