Powerless - lost and found

They say stories are created around highlights and twilights, reality and spectacle, narratives and subtexts. But when you are not the creator but part of the story as it unfolds, even better, if you are in the story and you are the star yet helpless and powerless...

is it possible to have stories with no stars. although it is action packed. with highs and lows. fears and delights. uptight pride and downright submission... one single person is not controlling it ?
